Our family of five, including three girls aged 17, 15, and 12, had a perfect stay at Sherwood House. The spacious layout with two toilets and a shower downstairs, and a bath upstairs, worked well for us. The double beds in every room were a hit with the girls. The location was ideal, allowing us to walk into town in just 20 minutes. Additionally, the well-stocked and comfortable house had a lovely, homely feel. We especially enjoyed the proximity of a pub right next door.

Free parking was such a treat! And having a washing machine was a great bonus - made me feel like a laundress. The house was close to Chatsworth House, so I pretended I was part of the aristocracy for a day. Fancy!

Sherwood House had all the amenities you could ask for, with comfortable and homely furnishings. the bedrooms were spacious with extremely comfortable beds. the large dining kitchen was a highlight, perfect for socializing with loved ones. the communication with the hosts was excellent, both before and during our stay. the location was fantastic, offering great views and being conveniently close to town and pubs. Parking on the drive was a plus. it was a fantastic break and I highly recommend Sherwood House to anyone looking for a comfortable stay in Derbyshire. Cons: Can't fault the property in any way! 👌.
